Getting involved

PaF relies on volunteers’ help and support and encourages all parents to come along to meetings, help organise and support events, put forward new ideas, offer support, expertise, etc.

How involved you get is entirely up to you — there’s no pressure. You could, for example, volunteer for half an hour on a stall at the Summer BBQ or Christmas Fair. Or, if you and some friends would like to run your own stall or sideshow, PaF will help and support you as much as you need. All offers of help are gratefully received and even 30 minutes of your time will help to make our fundraising events a success.

If you’d like to get involved, please come along to one of our meetings, which are publicised via this website, our Facebook group and sometimes via ParentMail or letter sent home from school. To help at a forthcoming event, simply add your name to the volunteers form that you will find on the end of an event letter, and return to the school office. Contact us directly if you like.

If you have an idea for a fund-raising event, please contact us. We’re always open to new ideas and can provide you with as much support as you need.

Facebook group

The PaF Facebook group is a great platform for us to promote PaF, publicise events and keep in touch with everyone. It also allows parents and friends to share ideas and submit feedback. Come and join us at PaF Facebook Group. Please note that this a closed group, which means only members can see post and read messages, and new members are approved before they can access the group.
