Present were: Helen Lowther, Mel Asbridge, Nicola Madin, Amy Jones, Jenny Jones, Katie Beale, Gary Steadman, Hannah Mitchell.
Apologies: Sam Williams.
Author visits, movie night and an animal man visit were among the topics of dicussion.
We hope to see you at one of our future meetings.
Thanks to those who came along to last night’s AGM.
It was disappointing not to see more new faces there if we’re honest.
Here are the new Committee:

All positions on the committee are up for election.
Don’t worry, you wont be roped into a role if you have not put your name forward.
All nominations for committee to be received by 3pm Monday 30th April to the school office please.
The positions available are:
Movie Night at Radbrook.
On Wednesday 7th March we held a movie night for all Year 3 and Year 4 children. They watched Gnomeo and Juliet, and enjoyed hot dogs and cheese rolls mid movie, with a chocolate to take home.
The Christmas Fair was very well attended. There were lots of stalls including crafts, Radbrook Rocks, wooden reindeer, and Santa even put in an appearance! A total of over £2,200.00 was raised. Thanks to everyone who helped with preparation and on the evening.
Our next meeting is on Wednesday November 8th at 7.30pm.
It will be held in the meeting room at The Inn on The Green.
All parents of children at Radbrook Primary School are invited to attend
The main topic will be planning the Christmas Fair.
Movie Night at Radbrook.
On Thursday 12th Oct we held a movie night for Reception & KS1 children. They watched Madagascar, and enjoyed hot dogs and cheese rolls mid movie, with a chocolate to take home. A fun time was had by all!
Parents evenings are being held on Wednesdays October 11th & 18th.
PaF are planning to hold a second hand uniform stall to raise funds.
If you have any uniform to donate – namely school logo items, please drop them off at the school office.
A lovely evening was enjoyed by all who attended, and we raised around £3,200.00 at this year’s Summer BBQ.
The weather wasn’t on our side during the day, so we decided to put a majority of the stalls inside the school.
We had the usual favourites of Adult and Kids tombola, Lucky Bags, Beat the Goalie and Coconut Shy, as well as Hook-a-Duck, glitter tattoos and Henna hand art.
Luckily the sky cleared by 6pm, meaning Go Kart party Shropshire and X Strike Nerf Arena were able to set up on the bottom playground and on the field, as well as Robbie Jones with a mixture of live music and entertainment on the top playground.
The Year 6 games in the demountable classrooms were as usual extremely creative, and we’d like to thank them for all their hard work. Once again, they produced record breaking takings. Thanks too to Miss Forbes and Miss Linnell for supervising.
Many thanks to everyone who helped on the night — teachers, parents, pupils, friends.
Thanks also to the businesses who donated prizes for the raffle.
All your support really does make a difference to our events.
