CHRISTMAS FAIR 2011: We made a record profit of £1,600 at this year's Christmas Fair and would like to thank everyone involved for their support and hard work. All money raised will be used towards buying equipment and resources to enhance the education of all pupils and the facilities of the school. Big thanks to Santa for stopping by at this very busy time of year. After listening to Christmas present requests from lots of children, he took the next sleigh back to Finland, where his elves are currently working 24/7. [14-December-11]

KS1 and KS2 Animal Parties: Thanks to Simon Airey and his collection of exotic animals, ranging from chinchillas to spiders and snakes, we raised a fantastic £322.85 at our two animal parties. The children learnt about the various animals and even got the chance to handle the snakes and spiders. No teachers or parents were reported to have fainted during the event! [12-November-11]

PANIC CIRCUS: Funded by PaF, the Panic Circus big top came to school for 4 days during the last week of term, teaching all of the children of the school various circus skills, including tightrope walking, juggling, unicycling, Chinese ribbons and plate spinning. The children had a great time in the large, colourful big top that was set up on the school field. [20-August-11]

BBQ SUCCESS: With help from parents, staff, pupils and friends, who gave their time so generously to help make this year’s BBQ a success, and fund matching by Barclays Bank, we raised £4,200 at this year's BBQ, a fantastic result! The Y6 games stalls, run by children from Year 6, raised a fantastic £281 - a record! Barclays Bank Shrewsbury helped with the fund raising and agreed to match admission ticket sales pound-for-pound up a maximum of £750.
