KS1 and KS2 'Royal' Discos

Thursday, 28 April 2011

Admission is £2 per child, which includes a drink  and chocolate treat. Fancy dress is optional but the theme is royal weddings, kings and queens, princes and princesses and knights (no swords or weapons please).

Reception and Key Stage 1 Disco: 3.15 – 4.15 p.m.

Children may bring their fancy dress outfits into school in the morning and their class teacher will help them get changed in time for the start at 3.15 p.m. Entrance money should be put in a sealed envelope marked 'Disco" and your child’s name. The envelope can then be handed to the class teacher at the start of the day. Please note that teachers are not able to take cash that is not in a sealed envelope. Parents should collect their children at 4.15 p.m. promptly inside the hall. Please come into the hall through the main entrance and exit through the Year 1/2/3 door that exits to the top of the steps to the playground. This will allow the children to collect their belongings on the way out and will avoid congestion.

Key Stage 2 Disco: 4.30 – 5.30 p.m.

Children should queue at the main entrance. They will be let into the hall at 4.30 p.m. and will pay on entry. Parents should collect their children at 5.30 p.m. inside the hall. Please come into the hall through the main entrance and exit through the rear doors and the side gate by the kitchen. Please keep to the footpaths. All children must be collected.

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to help at the discos. We still need a few more volunteers at both discos. If you can help, please fill in the slip from the previous letter or give your contact details to the school office - we could not stage these events without your support. We will contact volunteers separately to confirm details.
